Creative Assembly is a British video game developer established in 1987 by Tim Ansell. Although primarily based in the West Sussex town of Horsham, the Creative Assembly also operates an Australian branch in Fortitude Valley, Queensland.
In 1999, the company had sufficient resources to attempt a new and original project, proceeding to develop the strategy computer game Shogun: Total War. Poor buggy games...and not giving any care to there users....I really am disappointed in CA they have let me down to many times now.
not only that they need to openly apologise to Darth he is one of the main reasons people go back to these games....the mods he did were FANTASTIC! the game in pure vanilla is just well....boring :S

The games are perfectly fine the way they are in vanilla. Troy let me down a bit, but I could always play modded Attila or Rome 2 for that period.
I think you'll find people return to these games because they either love the period or love Warhammer, and that these are created great yet allow us to mod it.
