Currently, you can only play through Chapter 1 of the game. More chapters are in development, and for the first two chapters, the game will be released entirely for free! What happens from there on is a mystery even to us, but we do hope you join us for the ride!

And this might just be the beginning! We are incredibly ecstatic about this game concept, and we are more than willing to keep on developing the game further and further as long as the community wants us to!
We already have the script for Chapter 2 fully written, and we are incredibly excited about the potential places the story can go. And we truly hope our community is as excited about this game as we are!

This version isn’t super interesting, but a necessary one. It includes some important fixes, QoL, and prep work for Chapter 2, which is not too far away from now!

As we said above, not a lot. But, one feature we can highlight is the “Dynamic FOV” setting!

Normally, the FOV adjusts according to the player's speed. This is to create a cool effect that also works to create a sensation of moving quickly. But, some people might find this effect annoying and distracting, or even nauseating. So, you can now change whether this effect should be turned on or off in the Settings menu!
This version, much like 1.4.2, ALSO contains a good chunk of work behind the scenes in preparation for Chapter 2. (And this is the reason why the file size is 1mb larger than usual. Unacceptable, amirite!?)

Our social media game is staying strong. In fact, I’d recommend checking out our “The History of Just Keep Running” series on either TikTok or Instagram. In the series, I (Victor) go through every non-public version of the game from start to finish, and we see how the game progressed through the various months of development before releasing version 1.0.0!
