Well, we are back.
Painted Blood development was stalled indefinetly a year ago due to some... Unforseen consequences circumstances. Mostly studies, study related complications and a lot of personal problems. Now when the storm blew over, we can get back to work and finally progress more.From now on, the project will continue to slowly progress.
We also rethinked a lot of parts of our project, and decided that it will get some new mechanics, deeper story and even a new name - the project will be called Dyed Blood from now on, as that's more correct in terms what the name intended to mean.
Our team greatly expanded while being inactive - we got a programmer and a couple of content makers on board to help us get the project through.
We also thought on the design on our main character and generated a couple of AI artworks to use as placeholders in promo materials and such. Here are a couple of variants we will potentially use:
Note that these AI-generated designs are only to be used as reference and not final. None of these images will be used as a final design as is.
The project roadmap is also changed. we decided on not releasing the multiplayer addon sooner than actual story demo, so, instead, we decided to split the game into several parts, so we can focus on each more thoroughly. Here's the new roadmap:
From now, we will be more active in development and will try to post more updates, so, stay tuned!
