The final version of Age of the Ring is now released.

HOW TO INSTALL
First, make sure your RotWK is patched to 2.02 v9.0.0. Make sure that Edain, if installed, is disabled.
1. Download and unzip all contents of AgeOfTheRingInstaller8.0.zip into a folder
2. Run AgeOfTheRingInstaller8.0.exe as Administrator
3. The installer creates a shortcut to Age of the Ring 8.0 on your desktop
********** PLEASE READ BELOW **********
- THIS IS A FULL VERSION. You don't need to have previous AotR versions installed. You can uninstall previous versions if you want to.
- The installer WILL NOT allow you to install the mod into your RotWK or BFME2 installation folder (this would BREAK your game)
- The installer WILL NOT allow you to install if you do not have RotWK patch 2.02 v9.0.0 enabled.
- If you have previously installed 2.02 v9.0.0 and have enabled the Delay Fix, make sure to disable it as the Delay Fix will prevent mods from being launched
- If you do not have 2.02 v9.0.0, you can get it HERE.
PLAYING ONLINE
For using T3A:Online, nothing has changed - just make sure RotWK is hooked from the T3A:Online Launcher.

Hello, I tried to play this morning but an error appears. Game crash related with MORDOR_FORTRESS_WALLHUB_EXPANSION_BUILDCOST. I deleted the game, and redownload and reinstall. The game crash is the same. Help please, The hype is enormous!
Make sure your BFME2 is on patch 1.06, not 1.09.

I can't explain how much I love this mod and how you've been able to rekindle my childhood love for this game by making it amazing and relevant today!
A question, Create a Hero has been one of my favorite features since I was a kid and I absolutely love the updates you've done to it. However, new factions (Rohan, Rivendell, Woodland Realm, and Dol Gurdur) still can't use custom heroes. I'm super happy Harad can! Is this a feature that will be updated later?

Try this:
In the skirmish menu, open the custom heroes menu and type the first letter of your hero's name. You can then recruit them when you start the game.

Does it work on a pirated version of the game? Unfortunately my physical disc has stopped working/reading, and I think it's beyond saving unfortunately :c

Congrats on release! Is it normal that I can't colour my custom heroes' outfits? They all just the default colour.
Yes, we removed the colour customisation option from CaH.

Thanks for forcing me to download 2.02 v9.0.0. patch thus making all my saved campaign progress unusable, forcing me to start from square one all over again. 👎
No problem! Now you can enjoy the fact that your campaign wont crash when you play them again due to the memory patch included in v9!
Just to iterate more on this, the only saves that are affected by the version change are those in mid-mission. Autosaves still work fine, they have for us all development.
I first want to say that this is a lovely, godly lovely mod.
However, since I installed 8.0, I really can't manage to defeat a Death March AI anymore, I was fairly able to do so in the previous patch, but now I seem to be completely inable to do so. Which I think is a bit sad. Too difficult is not that fun anymore...

hello there,played as mordor with full upgrades,does not change from horse to fellbeast when chosen,horse just dissapears leaving you running about.
Click the mount button again and they'll be able to mount the fellbeast.

Io vi ringrazio enormemente per cio che continuate a fare!!! Un lavoro stupendo che dimostra passione sono molto riconoscente!! Tenete vivo un gioco stipendo e lo avete enormemente migliorato!! Un regalo stupendo! L unica cosa che volevo segnalare per capire se sia un problema mio meno è che nella sezione per la creazione di eroi alcune opzioni estetiche non vengono salvate e il cambiamento del colore dei vestiti non è più disponibile!! Nemmeno la vostra patch 8.1 risolve quel problema.

Guys It s an amazing game !!!! I have no words ti descrive the Amazing work You have fine!! However i don t understand why removing the colors from the customization of the Heroes I created a Gandalf the Gray that now Is no longer Grey🤣 and a Saruman the White to use as Good character that now Is no longer White. Some aesthetic option are no longer avaible.
Like the White long beard ! It would not be possibile to get these option back thanks!!!!!!

Hello guys, please i need your help. The mod cannot start cos there is this error screen :
Error parsing field 'End' in block 'Object' in file 'data\ini\object\goodfaction\units\men\treemen.ini', line 16.
Because of the severity of this error the game will now exit.
Is it possible to resolve the problem? My RotWK have the patch 2.02 v9.0.0 installed. I tried to resolve with the patch release 8.1 but always doesn't works.

Why does the Westfold mission not allow you to go beyond the first steps? I kill orcs, when I enter the city block, I am not allowed to continue.
